Yiwu International Expo Center is a key exhibition facility within the Yiwu Cultural Center District. The center was fully funded and constructed by Zhejiang China Commodities City Group Co., Ltd. The total land area is 219 acres, and the total building area is 296,000 square meters, including the exhibition halls and a supporting five-star hotel.
The exhibition halls of Yiwu International Expo Center cover a total area of over 240,000 square meters and provide 5,300 international standard booths. The exhibition hall has 10 standard exhibition halls, with one hall serving as both a banquet hall and exhibition space. The underground level includes four small exhibition halls and parking areas. The exhibition center is fully equipped with various services, including:
- A large press release hall accommodating 300-500 people.
- A large multifunctional hall with a capacity for 3,500-4,000 people.
- Fast food restaurants, nearly 20 large, medium, and small conference rooms, and a parking lot for over 700 vehicles.
- Additional facilities include a bar, café, convenience store, postal service, transportation, and civil aviation service points.
Yiwu International Expo Center is conveniently located near the northern bank of the Yiwu River, close to the South Ring Expressway, the International Trade City, and the planned Central Business District. It is just 1.5 kilometers from the International Trade City, 10 kilometers from Yiwu Airport, and 14 kilometers from the new train station. The center is well-connected to major cities in China via highways and railways, with the "Yi-Xin-Ou" China-Europe railway directly linking Yiwu to Madrid, Spain.
Yiwu International Expo Center is operated by the Yiwu International Expo Center Management, a subsidiary of Zhejiang China Commodities City Group Co., Ltd. It is a member of the International Exhibition Alliance (UFI) and a council member of the China Exhibition Association. The center employs over 80 staff members, with more than 30 holding a college degree or higher. The team covers a wide range of fields, including exhibition planning, design, preparation, on-site setup, and exhibition services. The establishment of Yiwu International Expo Center has greatly enhanced the city's exhibition infrastructure and laid a solid foundation for Yiwu to become an international exhibition hub.
