The AsiaWorld-Expo is located at Chek Lap Kok, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, and is one of the city's primary venues for exhibitions and conferences. The Expo is wholly owned and operated by the Hong Kong Airport Authority, covering an area of 112,700 square meters with 70,000 square meters of rentable space.
AsiaWorld-Expo features 10 pillarless exhibition halls, with ceiling heights ranging from 10 to 19 meters. Each hall can be flexibly adjusted in size, ranging from 5,700 square meters to 48,000 square meters, depending on the requirements. The venue also houses two large multi-purpose spaces: the AsiaWorld-Arena and AsiaWorld-Summit, which can be used for indoor performances and large-scale conferences. In addition, the Expo provides various dining options, including Chinese and Western fast food, bars, and sea-view restaurants, offering convenient food services for exhibitors and visitors.
Completed in 2005, the AsiaWorld-Expo is a public-private partnership development project, designed by a team led by the renowned Hong Kong architect, Rocco Yim. The design cleverly utilizes the flight height restrictions, employing a horizontally expanded layout that not only meets aesthetic demands but also ensures the venue's flexibility and efficient operation.
The AsiaWorld-Expo is located on the northeast side of Hong Kong International Airport, offering convenient transportation connections to numerous cities in the Pearl River Delta and maintaining close ties with global business networks.
