According to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to October 2024, China's catering revenue reached 44,367 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 5.9%. Among them, Chongqing, known as the 'Food Capital' and 'Hot Pot Capital of China', leads the country with a catering revenue of 187.98 billion yuan and a growth rate of 10.4%. Moreover, with 227,000 catering outlets, Chongqing has ascended to become the 'First City' of catering in China, showcasing the tremendous strength and vitality of its catering industry. In this context, Chongqing Think Tank Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd. will once again strive to host the Second China (Chongqing) International Catering Ingredients Exhibition (referred to as 'Chongqing Food Exhibition') in 2025.

Following the Ninth China (Chongqing) International Hot Pot Industry Expo, the Chongqing Food Exhibition brings together the power of the entire Chongqing catering industry association, upgrading its exhibition content with the theme of 'Special, Fine, Unique, New'. Concurrently, the Small Catering New Trends Exhibition and the Seventh Hot Pot Featured Ingredients Selection Conference (Spring) will be held. The aim is to deepen development in Chongqing, connect with the Sichuan-Chongqing region, boost the Southwest, radiate nationally, and create a professional platform for information exchange and resource connection in the catering industry, becoming an annual event for catering professionals.

Highlights of the exhibition include:

(1) New Products & Upgrades: Over 1,000 new catering products will be released to set the trend for catering fashion in 2025, facilitating innovation and development in the catering industry. The exhibition area will also undergo upgrades, adding a new trend area for small restaurants to uncover and showcase the innovative achievements of distinctive and vibrant small catering enterprises.

(2) New Expansion & Depth: Efficient links to over 60,000 catering enterprises in Chongqing are expected. Targeted invitations will be sent to catering professionals from Sichuan-Chongqing and across the nation for exploration and interaction, promoting precise production and marketing connections in the catering industry. There will be an increased focus on Western cuisine in response to the growing demands of the international catering market.

(3) Appreciation & Excellence: More than 1,000 chefs will compete together, showcasing awards for distinguished chefs, dishes, pastries, dinners, and restaurants, creating a platform for cultural inheritance, skills exchange, and innovative integration within Chongqing's culinary scene. Chefs and catering enterprises are encouraged to innovate dish designs and showcase unique creative and cultural cuisines.

(4) Diverse Interactions: More than 10 professional exchange activities will be organized on-site. Diverse events involving exhibitions, competitions, conferences, and festivals will empower the catering industry with new scenes. The 2025 Sichuan-Chongqing Barbecue Contest and other events will stimulate the innovation spirit and competitive awareness of catering practitioners.

The exhibition will include multiple key sections, such as the International Catering Ingredients Exhibition Area and the Small Catering New Trends Exhibition Area, showcasing a wide array of products including various prepared food materials, hot pot ingredients, beverages, barbecue foods, machinery and equipment, and supporting supplies.
