To respond to the objectives of the "Made in China 2025" new material program and the development needs for innovation and industrialization of new materials in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the "Guangzhou Composites and Products Exhibition" was established, aiming to enhance the international competitiveness of China's materials science. This exhibition focuses on effectiveness, creating a specialized, large-scale composites exhibition with Chinese characteristics, offering five-star service to build a high-efficiency communication platform for both suppliers and buyers.
The previous edition, the 5th Guangzhou Composites & Product Exhibition, was successfully held from July 6 to 8, 2022, at the Guangzhou Nanfeng International Exhibition Center. The event attracted 140 exhibitors, although 38 exhibitors canceled or postponed their participation due to the pandemic. The total number of attendees reached 6,803, a 3% increase from the previous year's 6,600 participants, despite strict pandemic control measures. Many exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the number of professional visitors and the overall event outcome.
Products on display included a variety of composite materials and auxiliaries, such as carbon fibers, fiberglass, and natural fibers; resins and adhesives; composite products like carbon fiber and fiberglass items; and various production equipment and new forming technologies. The showcased items are widely applicable in fields such as sports and leisure, aerospace, automotive manufacturing, construction, and more, providing opportunities for related industries and advancing technological progress in new materials.
The exhibition focuses on the manufacturing and application of composites, presenting various new forming technologies and equipment, facilitating technical exchanges and collaboration within the industry, and continuously promoting the development and innovation in the composites sector. Participants not only observed new products but also engaged in discussions and exchanges, enhancing understanding and cooperation. This exhibition is not only a key event in the industry but also an important platform for driving economic transformation and industry upgrades.
