Currently, China's consumption of imported alcoholic beverages accounts for 23% of the world's total. With a population of over 1.4 billion and escalating consumption capabilities, the potential for China's beer and spirits market is immense, with more imported spirits and beers entering households. China is the world's largest beer-consuming country, with an annual consumption of 42.96 billion liters of beer, and the beer production of scale enterprises reached 35.687 million kiloliters in 2022, projected to reach 38 million kiloliters by 2025, with sales revenue climbing to 240 billion yuan.
China is also the top consumer of spirits globally, holding 84% of the share in the global spirits market and an average per capita consumption of 4.34 liters, with annual consumption exceeding 600 million cases. As the market shifts towards high-end products, the 2025 Guangzhou International High-end Spirits and Beer Exhibition will serve as a significant event connecting global and domestic liquor industries.
Since 2010, the exhibition has accumulated over 60 international organization resources related to liquor, gathering more than 30,000 importers and nearly 50,000 distributors, covering hotels, supermarkets, dining, and other sectors, thus becoming a communication platform for businesses and enthusiasts.
