In recent years, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have placed high emphasis on the work of cyber information security. The government has introduced a series of policies aimed at strengthening network security management, protecting personal and organizational data, and maintaining national security and public interest. The implementation of laws such as the Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, and Personal Information Protection Law has established a legal basis for network information security, clarifying the security obligations of network operators and requirements for personal data protection. The introduction of regulations for the security protection of critical information infrastructure has further strengthened the protection of security in key sectors and improved the ability to respond to cybersecurity incidents.

As an important city in central China, Wuhan's government has shown significant initiative towards the development of the cybersecurity industry, implementing various measures to promote its growth. The Wuhan Municipal Government has issued policies supporting the national cybersecurity talent and innovation base, and significant achievements have been made in the R&D and innovation of cybersecurity technologies. Additionally, plans are underway to establish a Wuhan University of Cybersecurity, which will further foster talent cultivation and technological innovation in cybersecurity.

To further encourage exchange and interaction within the cyber information security industry and enhance cooperative awareness among stakeholders for mutual progress and development, the 2025 China (Wuhan) International Network and Data Security Expo and Cyber Information Security Summit Forum will be grandly held from June 26 to 28, 2025, at the Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center. This expo will focus on product highlights and precise procurement matching, providing more collaboration opportunities for the global cybersecurity industry and effectively promoting the full integration of cybersecurity into the global procurement system. It aims to facilitate coordinated cooperation and achieve mutual benefits with cybersecurity industries worldwide. The exhibition will cover a wide range of cybersecurity technologies and products, including computer environment security, communication network security, cloud security, secure development, application protection, identity recognition and access management, border access control, content security, risk control, data security, threat monitoring and capture, vulnerability monitoring and management, security intelligence, incident management, security services, industrial control security, IoT security, mobile security, commercial encryption, quantum encryption, zero trust, artificial intelligence, and more.
