2026 11th China Museum and Related Products and Technologies Exposition

The 11th China Museum and Related Products and Technologies Exposition, referred to as "博博会", will be held from November 13 to 16, 2026, at the Hainan International Exhibition Center in Haikou, covering an area of approximately 94,000 square meters. This year's theme, "Museums: Bridges Connecting the World," emphasizes the deep integration of museums' real needs with digital applications, providing a more convenient platform for academic exchange and communication in the cultural heritage sector.

The expo will feature twelve specific exhibition areas, including a showcase of national museum development achievements, an exhibition area for Hainan's cultural heritage advancements, and a display of results from cultural heritage enterprises. Particularly, the National Museum Development Achievements Area will highlight the accomplishments in exhibition, public education, and scientific research over the past two years, while the Hainan Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area will feature innovative practices from local museums.

The Cultural Heritage Enterprise Development Area will spotlight the latest practices in exhibition planning and artifact safety, complemented by the Digital Technology Area showcasing AI applications in museum artifact restoration and digital dissemination. An International Museum Display will invite institutions from the U.S., France, Germany, and more to present their recent scholarly and cultural creative practices.

Additionally, the expo will host areas like Ethnic Museum Displays, Museum Research Achievements, Traveling Museums, National Cultural Relics Protection Equipment, and Non-state Owned Museums, showcasing the vibrant development across the sector. A range of cultural activities will also be held, including an Intangible Cultural Heritage section where visitors can engage with traditional crafts, making this expo not only a hub for professional exchanges but also a valuable opportunity for the public to experience culture.
