As a leading gathering aimed at promoting unity among photovoltaic peers and fostering healthy development in the photovoltaic industry, the China International Photovoltaic Industry Conference has been successfully held for eight consecutive years. This conference brings together leaders from numerous international organizations, authoritative experts from home and abroad, and global photovoltaic industry leaders to facilitate dialogue, share wisdom, and effectively promote the interconnected development of China’s photovoltaic sector with the world. The 2026 9th China International Photovoltaic Industry Conference will be grandly held in Chengdu in November. The conference aims to establish a platform for inclusive, open cooperation, and mutually beneficial development in the photovoltaic new energy industry, allowing the world to share new technologies, achievements, and trends in photovoltaic development during the "two-child era," empowering humanity towards a "green new future."
Key materials in photovoltaic production include silica stone, silicon chunks, silicon granules, silicon ingots, and silicon wafers. Photovoltaic cells involve manufacturers, agents, and distributors within this supply chain. There will be comprehensive showcases of production equipment for silicon rods, chunks, and ingots, as well as cutting and cleaning devices for wafer production. Additionally, battery production equipment will feature complete production lines and various specialized devices, while battery plates and module production equipment will also be included. Various thin-film solar panel production technologies will be showcased, including amorphous silicon, cadmium telluride, and dye-sensitized solar cells.
In the energy storage product area, technologies such as compressed air energy storage, pumped storage, and various batteries like lithium-ion and supercapacitors will be represented. Relevant application solutions will showcase how energy storage batteries can serve in different scenarios, including power systems, household storage, solar power generation, and communication bases, all contributing to the global development of new energy.
