In response to the national strategy of building a strong marine and transportation power, the 2026 Shanghai International Exhibition of Public Vessels and Water Area Safety will be held from May 7 to 9, 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. This exhibition is a significant upgrade from the previous "Shanghai International Exhibition of Commercial and Public Vessels" to accelerate the construction of a modern water traffic safety supervision and rescue system.
The exhibition will deeply align with the strategic goals outlined in the "National Waterway Traffic Safety Supervision and Rescue System Layout Plan (2025-2035)". As the flagship event in the Asia-Pacific region for public vessels and water area safety, "2026" will focus not only on public vessel systems but also on the future of emergency safety in water areas.
The exhibition will feature ten major thematic sections representing the entire industry chain, showcasing key elements and technical solutions related to water area emergency safety, public and working vessels, and core supporting equipment. Areas of focus include the design, construction, maintenance, and servicing of commercial, public, and working vessels; patrol, security, and coast guard vessels; marine contracting, vessel and port services; commercial diving and underwater services; and personnel configuration and recruitment.
Moreover, it will incorporate areas like marine finance, insurance and law; security and training; marine civil engineering and construction; vessel equipment; marine renewable energy; dredging and coastal development, providing comprehensive one-stop services for exhibitors and industry professionals. The exhibition aims to further advance the high-quality development of water area safety governance and equipment industry, contributing to the national strategies of building a strong marine and transportation power.
