2025 Northeast (Shenyang) Water Expo

In order to fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions regarding the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China, and to deeply promote the water management philosophy of "water conservation priority, spatial balance, systematic governance, and dual-force efforts", this expo is actively responding to the strategic deployment of the Ministry of Water Resources and the water management authorities of the four provinces in Northeast China to deepen industry reform and promote high-quality development. The Liaoning Provincial Water Resources Association and Liaoning Provincial Water Society, together with relevant social organizations from the water industry in the Northeast, jointly host the 2025 Northeast (Shenyang) Water Expo.

As the first professional water industry event in Northeast China, the expo carries the theme “Digital Empowerment for Development: Water Nourishes Northeast for Revitalization.” It will focus on areas such as the construction of the Northeast water network, the development of smart water management, and the upgrading of water-saving industries. The event aims to gather top industry expertise, cutting-edge technological achievements, and innovative practice cases. It invites representatives from government departments, research institutions, and industry enterprises to come together. Through a series of activities including academic forums, technology showcases, and project matchmaking discussions, the expo will strive to create a deep integration platform for industry exchanges that combines government, industry, academia, research, and application. This platform will provide strong support for making breakthroughs in the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China and showcasing the Northeast’s responsibility in promoting the modernization process with Chinese characteristics.

The expo is scheduled to take place from October 13 to 15, 2025, at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center.

Exhibition areas include:
- ***Smart Water Management and Digital Empowerment Zone***: showcasing digital twin technology and intelligent monitoring and early warning systems.
- ***Water Safety and Disaster Prevention Zone***: featuring emergency rescue equipment and flood prevention and mitigation technologies.
- ***Water Environment Governance and Ecological Restoration Zone***: focusing on urban and rural water environment governance and smart water management systems.
- ***Water Conservation Technologies and Efficient Utilization Zone***: promoting agricultural water conservation and water-saving technologies for industrial and domestic use.
- ***Rural Water Management and Livelihood Guarantee Zone***: providing rural water supply solutions and smart rural water management options.
- ***New Energy and Green Technology Zone***: exploring the integration of water management and new energy, including low-carbon water treatment equipment.
- ***Beautiful Rivers and Lakes Governance and Ecological Water Use Guarantee Zone***: emphasizing the governance of beautiful rivers and lakes and ecological water use guarantees.
- ***Other Zones***: exhibition content will be adjusted and expanded based on actual enterprise needs.
