In today's world, the geopolitical landscape is rapidly changing amidst a slowing economic recovery. Despite these challenging external conditions, China's economic potential, resilience, and vitality remain strong and unchanged. In 2023, China's GDP surpassed 17.89 trillion USD, with a year-on-year growth of 5.2%. The booming export of new energy vehicles and the upgrade of electronic product consumption are propelling the continuous update and iteration of plastic and rubber materials and technologies. Capturing opportunities and identifying the right path are crucial for plastic and rubber enterprises to achieve sustainable and high-quality development in the future.

The four-day 'CHINAPLAS 2025 International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition' successfully concluded on April 18, 2023, at the Shenzhen International Exhibition Center (Bao'an). With an exhibition area of over 380,000 square meters, 4,616 exhibitors, and 281,206 professional visitors, this event showcased its extraordinary influence and strong appeal as a leading global plastics exhibition. It attracted exhibitors from 40 countries and regions, while visitors represented over 170 countries and regions. Notably, audiences from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and overseas accounted for 24.37%, totaling 68,542 people, with an increase of 141.10% compared to the 2023 Shenzhen exhibition, achieving significant advancements in internationalization.

Amidst pressures on global economic growth, the trading atmosphere at the exhibition was vibrant, with numerous exhibitors and buyers reaching strategic collaborations and signing large orders.

The 'CHINAPLAS International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition' is held annually in Shenzhen and biennially in Shanghai, with the next edition scheduled to take place from April 21 to 24, 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Hongqiao) in Shanghai. We look forward to more industry peers joining us in creating a bright future for the plastic and rubber industry in the new era.
