2025 Xiamen International Footwear Expo and Leather Bag and Accessories Industry Chain (Xiamen) Exhibition

The 2025 Xiamen International Footwear Expo is a successor to the Guangzhou International Footwear Exhibition and the Guangzhou International Footwear Machinery and Materials Exhibition. This event has been certified by the Global Exhibition Association and is celebrated as a major industry event with the highest number of exhibitors and the most concentrated product categories in the global footwear sector, recognized as an essential one-stop industry chain trade exhibition for the footwear industry.

In response to the unique challenges of our times, the exhibition has relocated to Xiamen to create another global professional footwear event. The expo aims to continually stimulate market recovery in the industry, showcase the latest footwear products and technologies from around the world, and facilitate visits and purchases by professional buyers from across the globe, forging collaborations with quality suppliers and creating business opportunities.

The surrounding regions of Quanzhou, Jinjiang, Putian, Jiangxi, Chaoshan, Fuzhou, and Xiamen have gathered nearly 500,000 footwear and bag manufacturing enterprises, forming a complete industry chain from brand franchising, production, design, materials, to machinery. The footwear, hats, and bags manufacturing industries in Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong play a significant role nationally. After decades of development, the organizing body of the expo aims to invite internationally renowned enterprises and trade associations to Xiamen, expecting the show to cover an area of 30,000 square meters, attracting over 600 exhibitors and around 30,000 participants from relevant enterprises for purchasing, injecting fresh vitality into the market, and helping both technologically advanced international firms and specialized enterprises expand their market reach and business opportunities.

The last exhibition concluded in Guangzhou on May 17, 2025, with the first day's visitor count reaching 19,618, demonstrating immense popularity and successful business for exhibitors. Attendees were mainly professional buyers from over 60 countries and regions and more than 20 provinces and cities across China. Since its inception, the exhibition has attracted nearly 200,000 visitors from over 100 countries and regions worldwide, making it a must-attend annual gathering for professionals in the footwear and leather industry, often referred to as "the annual meeting of the footwear and leather industry."

Looking ahead, with the rapid development of China’s shoemaking industry, the country has become the world's largest footwear producer and exporter. Concurrently, China’s consumer market has seen swift growth of its own shoe brand enterprises, transitioning from "Made in China" to "Intelligent Manufacturing in China." The manufacturing industry continues to show strong growth, and industrial upgrades are a significant driving force. Manufacturing growth is expected to be a highlight of China's economy next year. In 2025, the expo will expand its international promotion efforts, aiming to provide better promotional platforms for Chinese footwear and bag enterprises to explore international markets.
