The 2025 Beijing-Qingdao International Urban Rail Transit Exhibition and CAMET Forum, abbreviated as MetroTrans 2025, is set to take place in Qingdao from September 18 to 20, 2025. Organized by the China Urban Rail Transit Association, this significant event will also host the 2nd China Urban Rail Transit High-tech Achievement Trade Fair, the 3rd China Urban Rail Transit Equipment Independent Innovation Achievement Exhibition, and a roundtable for leaders of low-capacity urban rail system owners. The theme of MetroTrans 2025, "Innovation-Driven High Quality Development through Integration," aims to focus on推动城市轨道交通行业的转型升级和可持续发展, particularly in building the innovation, supply, and collaboration chains that enhance deep communication and cooperation across the industry.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of technologies and products related to urban rail transit, including rail vehicles, equipment components, power supply systems, signaling and communication systems, intelligent traffic management systems, and interior design for vehicles. In response to national calls for high-quality development, MetroTrans 2025 will invite key urban rail transit enterprises from various cities across China, such as Nanjing, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Jinan, in collaboration with China CRRC and China Railway. Additionally, international organizations such as the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and the German Railway Industry Association will be actively involved.

This three-day event is expected to cover an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, attracting participants from both domestic and international backgrounds, where industry professionals and experts will gather to discuss the future and growth of the industry. MetroTrans 2025 not only pays tribute to the 60-year development of China’s urban rail transit industry but also represents a profound exploration of a new stage in the industry's development, further promoting international communication and contributing to high-quality development in the sector.
