The optoelectronic industry is one of the most important industries of the 21st century, profoundly influencing the growth of various sectors. In 2023, the global optoelectronic industry market is anticipated to enter a stable growth phase, projected to reach $1.4 trillion. China's optoelectronic market alone is expected to stabilize at around $550 billion, achieving a year-on-year growth of about 10%, accounting for 39% of the global market. China stands as the largest consumer and producer in the optoelectronic sector, with a complete industrial chain and rich technological reserves, showcasing strong competitive advantages and growth potential. The Chinese government places a high emphasis on the development of this industry, enacting numerous related policies and plans, such as the "14th Five-Year Plan for National Informatization" and the "National Optical Electronic Device Industry Technology Development Roadmap (2018-2022)" to provide robust support and guidance.

Against this backdrop, the 2025 Hangzhou International Optoelectronic Expo will be held, aiming to showcase the latest optoelectronic technologies and applications while facilitating communication and cooperation across the industry chain. The exhibition will be divided into nine major themes:

1. Precision Optics & Lens and Camera Module Exhibition Area: showcasing optical materials, optical components, optical imaging measurement, and instruments.

2. Information Communication Exhibition Area: featuring optical communication chips, optical fiber sensing systems, and related technologies.

3. Infrared Technology and Applications Exhibition Area: displaying infrared materials, devices, and terahertz technology.

4. Intelligent Sensing Exhibition Area: covering laser radar, 3D vision, and IoT technologies.

5. Laser Technology and Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition Area: showcasing laser components, 3D printing, and cutting-edge applications.

6. Optoelectronic Innovation Exhibition Area: focusing on biomedical optoelectronics and intelligent manufacturing.

7. Optoelectronic Display Exhibition Area: covering new display technologies such as LCD panels and OLEDs.

8. Semiconductor and 5G Applications Exhibition Area: exhibiting semiconductor manufacturers and products related to 5G technology.

9. Digital Economy Exhibition Area: focusing on smart manufacturing, smart city development, and other digital transformation topics.

Hangzhou, with its unique policy environment, is rapidly emerging as a core hub for the optoelectronic industry in the Yangtze River Delta region. Through the Hangzhou International Optoelectronic Expo, we not only promote the growth of the optoelectronic sector in surrounding cities but also enhance the competitiveness of the national optoelectronic industry on a larger scale.
