Shanghai Mart

The Shanghai Mart Exhibition Center is located in the Hongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone and is the only foreign-invested project among Shanghai's top ten key municipal projects. It was jointly funded by several overseas Chinese investors, with a total investment of $300 million. Covering a construction area of 280,000 square meters, the project broke ground in 1994 and officially opened to the public at the end of 1999.

The Shanghai Mart Exhibition Center comprises three main buildings: the Permanent Trade Exhibition Center, Shanghai Mart Exhibition Hall, and Shanghai Mart Tower. The Permanent Trade Exhibition Center spans 190,000 square meters and features 2,200 permanent showrooms, making it an ideal venue for product displays and business transactions. The Shanghai Mart Exhibition Hall, covering over 37,000 square meters, is Shanghai’s largest short-term exhibition venue, hosting hundreds of international and domestic exhibitions and major conferences annually. The Shanghai Mart Tower is a 5A-grade intelligent office building, providing high-quality, modern office spaces.

Strategically located in Shanghai's Hongqiao Economic Development Zone, the center enjoys a prime location with excellent transportation access. It is adjacent to the Yan'an Elevated Road to the south and is close to the Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel and Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel to the north. Additionally, it is only a 10-minute drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, making it highly convenient for international business travelers and exhibitors.
