2026 China (Shenyang) International Agricultural Expo and the 15th Liaoning International Agricultural Expo

The China (Shenyang) International Agricultural Expo was established in 2000 and is hosted by the Shenyang Municipal Government, taking place annually. It serves as a significant platform for agricultural products and technology. The Liaoning International Agricultural Expo is organized by the Liaoning Provincial Government and is held biennially alongside the Shenyang Expo, creating a unique city-provincial co-exhibition model. Having grown for over twenty years under the continuous support of both the national and provincial governments, these expos have earned numerous prestigious qualifications, including being recognized as a National Level 3A Agricultural Professional Exhibition and one of the top ten agricultural brand exhibitions in the country.

The event attracts exhibitors from over 60 countries and regions, showcasing hundreds of thousands of agricultural products. It has received nearly 1.5 million professional buyers and general public visitors, with direct trade amounts reaching approximately 4 billion yuan and total industry chain contracts exceeding 50 billion yuan. The expo not only displays new technologies and products within agriculture but also promotes deep processing of agricultural products, fostering the application of smart agricultural equipment and eco-friendly technologies.

Scheduled for September 23-27, 2026, the 2026 China (Shenyang) International Agricultural Expo and the 15th Liaoning International Agricultural Expo will focus on enhancing new productive forces in agriculture, integrating with industries such as technology and finance for innovative development. Announced during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the expo aims to fully implement the important directives of Xi Jinping, advancing technological, green, and branding-focused agriculture. Leveraging the occasion of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, the event seeks to activate specialized agricultural industries in Liaoning, creating a comprehensive agricultural empowerment system to raise the added value of agricultural products, promote beneficial cycles of domestic and foreign trade, and provide strong support for the high-quality economic development and rural revitalization in Liaoning.

Throughout the expo, modern agricultural resources and technologies will be spotlighted, including new techniques, achievements, materials, and major projects from agricultural research institutions, as well as modern agricultural materials such as seeds, pesticides, and fertilizers. Furthermore, the expo will showcase advanced products and technologies within the food processing industry and supply chains for pre-prepared dishes, providing extensive support and services catering to food demands.
