The 2026 Shanghai Comic Week will provide a vibrant platform for comic enthusiasts and creators, gathering domestic and foreign comic publishing organizations, artists, and independent creators. The event will feature multiple exhibition areas showcasing original comic books, graphic novels, animated adaptations, and cross-media IP projects. It is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors, with more than 50 exhibitors and over 100 participating comic creators. This event focuses not only on showcasing content but also on interaction with the audience, arranging more than 30 live activities including creator signing sessions and lectures. The event aims to promote Chinese comic culture to wider regions while facilitating international creator exchanges and collaborations.
