2026 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Expo

The China International Small and Medium Enterprises Expo (SMEs Expo), established in 2004 and approved by the State Council of China, has been held successfully for 20 editions in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and is widely welcomed by numerous countries. It is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and is recognized as an international exhibition by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

The expo aims to build a platform for cooperation and exchange among domestic and international SMEs, supporting their outreach and collaboration. According to the 'Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises' released in April 2019, the expo plays a crucial role in facilitating the healthy development of SMEs and expanding exchanges and cooperation. It not only serves as a platform for showcasing and trading products but also includes policy dialogues and exchanges of cooperative experiences among nations, making it the largest, most prestigious, and influential international event for SMEs in the Asia-Pacific region.

Since its second edition, the expo has implemented a co-hosting model with various countries and organizations, having invited more than 20 nations, including France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and others, as guest countries. This multi-national collaboration mechanism ensures broader information sharing and experience exchange among SMEs, promoting cooperation and mutual benefits on an international level. Additionally, the expo invites embassies and consulates to participate in discussions on hot topics related to SME development, providing platforms for training, financing, and various services, thereby creating excellent development opportunities for businesses. All these elements highlight the significance of the SME Expo as an effective platform for their growth.
