2026 5th Shanxi Province Sugar, Wine, and Food Trade Fair

Shanxi Province is renowned for its production and consumption of alcoholic beverages, vinegars, and minor grains. In recent years, supported by the national policy on the transformation of resource-exhausted cities, and with the great importance placed by the Shanxi Provincial Committee and government, the food industry in Shanxi has experienced significant growth, achieving a remarkable 27% growth rate, which is the highest among all industries in the region.

The food industry in Shanxi has formed a leading development model characterized by three traditional industries (liquor, vinegar, and dairy), five specialty food industries (processing of minor grains, meat processing, specialty edible oil processing, processing of dried and fresh fruits and vegetables, and functional food processing), and three modern food industries (beverage manufacturing, starch products, and convenience foods).

To fill the gap in sugar and wine trade fairs in Shanxi Province and provide convenient services for the fast-moving consumer goods market in Shanxi, promote the circulation of sugar and wine products, and stimulate the market economy, as well as meet the new demands of consumers for upgrades in consumption, the 5th Shanxi Province Sugar, Wine, and Food Trade Fair will be held from August 22 to 24, 2026, at the Shanxi Province Exhibition Hall in Taiyuan City. The venue is a fully-equipped, mature exhibition facility with an area of 21,000 square meters and aims to invite 800 exhibitors to showcase nearly 10,000 high-quality products, including various types of alcoholic beverages, food, beverages, condiments, packaging, and equipment.
