2026 CMES China Machine Tool Exhibition | Xi'an International Machine Tool Exhibition

With the implementation of national development strategies like "Central China Rising" and "Belt and Road Initiative," Xi'an’s advanced manufacturing sector is showing significant development results. As a key military industrial province in China, Xi'an plays a pivotal role in many national projects, including BeiDou satellites, Chang'e lunar missions, Tianwen Mars exploration, and Shenzhou spacecraft. Prominent companies such as ZTE, Huawei, and Samsung have established factories in Xi'an, while tech giants like Tencent, Alibaba, and 360 have set up regional headquarters, resulting in the formation of several industrial clusters, including telecommunications equipment, electronic components, integrated circuits, and smart terminals. Furthermore, Xi'an's new energy vehicle industry achieved great success, being crowned as "China's City with the Highest Output of New Energy Vehicles" in 2022.

To further promote development in the manufacturing sector, the Xi'an International Machine Tool Exhibition is set to take place from March 16 to 19, 2026, at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center (Chanba). This year’s exhibition will feature six major thematic areas—metal cutting, metal forming, grinding tools, machine tool accessories, robotics and automation, and electrical processing—spanning an area of 40,000 square meters, gathering over 600 brand exhibitors.

The exhibit range includes:
- Metal cutting machines: such as five-axis, gantry, vertical, and horizontal machining centers, deep hole drills, profile machining centers, combination machines, engraving and milling machines, lathes, and grinding machines.
- Metal forming machines: covering uncoiling and flattening, feeding, stamping and automation, pipe processing, laser cutting, and shearing.
- Core functional technologies for CNC machines: including spindles, lead screws, guide rails, and digital manufacturing systems.
- Sheet metal and stamping equipment: featuring shears, bending machines, and punch presses.
- Industrial automation and robots: showcasing various robotics and smart logistics, and packaging solutions.
- Grinding tools: various types of cutting tools and optical measurement instruments.
- Machine tool accessories: such as spindles, suction cups, and power tools.
- Electrical processing equipment: including wire cutting and electrical discharge drilling machines.
