2026 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair Phase 1)

The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in 1957 and is held biannually in Guangzhou. It is the longest-standing, largest, and most comprehensive international trade fair in China, set to hold its 139th session in spring 2026. This fair will provide an extensive platform for domestic and international businesses to showcase their products and connect with potential partners. Each session has attracted around 26,000 exhibitors across 16 major categories, with nearly 200,000 professional buyers attending over the years. The 139th Canton Fair will not only invite more domestic businesses but also set up an import exhibition for international companies to facilitate their entry into the Chinese market, promoting balanced bilateral trade.

The newly built Zone D of the Canton Fair complex will fully support the import exhibition, enhancing its infrastructure to attract high-quality products from around the world into the Chinese market. Over the years, the Canton Fair has gradually become a window for China to present its international image, fostering cultural and business exchanges. It provides new development opportunities for participating enterprises while continuing to expand its online exhibition platform, which recorded over 38 million visits during the 132nd session in 2022, reflecting a shift towards digital engagement among international buyers.
