The exhibition is themed "Green Intelligent Manufacturing, Quality Living Spaces," closely aligning with the national "dual carbon" strategy and the building industry's transformation and upgrade needs. There will be six major themed exhibition areas: Green Building Materials, Smart Homes, Prefabricated Buildings, Decorative Materials, Bathroom Ceramics, and Building Equipment. The Green Building Materials area will focus on showcasing new environmentally friendly building materials, energy-efficient doors and windows, and insulation materials; the Smart Home area will feature the latest technological achievements, including smart locks, smart lighting, and smart security systems.
A notable highlight of this exhibition is the first-ever establishment of a "Zero Carbon Building Technology Zone," showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), building energy storage systems, and intelligent microgrids. Several leading renewable energy enterprises, including Longi Green Energy and JinkoSolar, have confirmed their participation. Additionally, during the event, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center will release the "China Building Energy Efficiency Technology Development White Paper (2025 Edition)," providing authoritative guidance for industry development.
In the smart home sector, the expo will showcase three main highlights: first, the in-depth integration of whole-house smart solutions, featuring smart home ecosystems based on AIoT technology from companies like Haier and Midea; second, the practical application scenarios of 5G+ smart home technologies, with China Mobile and Huawei setting up real-world experience zones; and third, a focused display of intelligent aging-related products tailored for the needs of an aging society.
For prefabricated construction, the exhibition will feature a designated "Prefabricated Building Demonstration Project Zone," where enterprises like China State Construction Technology and Yuanda Prefab Housing will present the latest modular building technologies and share case studies. There will also be a "Forum on High-Quality Development of Prefabricated Buildings," inviting industry experts to discuss standard design, factory production, and assembly construction themes.
Additionally, the event will include a rich program of activities such as over 20 specialized forums and technical exchange meetings. The "Green Buildings and Urban Sustainable Development Summit" will invite academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and senior executives from well-known real estate companies to explore low-carbon transformation paths for the construction industry.
In terms of exhibitors, aside from major domestic enterprises, international participation will be significantly enhanced, with national exhibition groups from Germany, Italy, and Japan showcasing the latest building technologies and material solutions, particularly highlighting Italy's exhibition group, which will focus on high-end bathroom and designer building materials, providing more options for domestic buyers.
For professional visitors, multiple services will be offered, including a "one-click appointment" registration through the official mini-program, which will smartly recommend matching exhibitors and activities based on audience profiles. A "Business Negotiation Zone" will be set up on-site, equipped with professional translators and legal consulting services to facilitate efficient connections between domestic and foreign enterprises. The organizing committee anticipates that the anticipated transaction amount for this exhibition may exceed 5 billion RMB.
As an important indicator for the building materials industry in the post-pandemic era, this expo holds special significance. It will comprehensively showcase the latest achievements in technological innovation and green development within China's building materials sector, while also building cooperation bridges for both domestic and international enterprises to jointly respond to the challenges posed by changes in the global economic landscape. The hosting of this expo will further consolidate Hangzhou's position as a key hub for the building materials industry in the Yangtze River Delta, promoting high-quality industry development. Notably, this exhibition will be deeply integrated with Hangzhou's "Digital City" construction, utilizing a novel "online + offline" dual-mode that allows attendees unable to be present to tour the exhibition virtually through a VR cloud exhibition hall, offering a 360-degree view and facilitating online discussions with exhibitors. This innovative approach not only expands the exhibition's spatial and temporal boundaries but also serves as a model for the industry's digital transformation.
