To implement the national strategy for high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industry Expo (shortened as YRD Cultural Expo) was jointly initiated by the Propaganda Departments of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui in 2018. Over the past seven years and five sessions, the exhibition area has expanded to 100,000 square meters, making it one of the largest and most diverse cultural industry expos in the country.

The 6th YRD Cultural Expo will be grandly held in October 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The expo will focus on high-quality development, high-level openness, high-quality living, and high-standard services as its fundamental requirements. Guided by the principles of prioritizing transactions, ensuring excellent quality, and providing premium services, the expo aims to achieve new heights in innovation, quality enhancement, and scale expansion, serving as a new starting point for benefiting enterprises, the public, and promoting a dual circulation.

The Comprehensive Development Section will involve provinces and cities from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, as well as other provinces and key cultural enterprises nationwide. It will showcase development plans for the "14th Five-Year Plan", key project outcomes, and investment attraction policies while highlighting local cultural projects and products.

The Digital Technology Section will focus on the development of digital content and experiential services, showcasing emerging areas like online games, web literature, metaverse, and blockchain under the backdrop of the digital economy. The Cultural Equipment section will prioritize the integration of culture and technology, featuring three distinct display areas: immersive cultural tourism solutions, intelligent film production and cinema equipment, and museum digital integration.

In the Cultural Life Section, the expo will promote national consumption upgrades aimed at end consumers, creating optimal urban cultural living experiences. By organizing various performances, competitions, and interactive events, the expo will merge traditional culture with trending lifestyles, linking consumption with culture to stimulate cultural creative commercial transformation, connect with quality clients and consumers, and establish a strong brand presence.
