From June 13 to June 15, 2025, the first international wine culture industry expo in Southeast coastal China—the 2025 China (Fuzhou) Wine Industry Expo—will grandly take place at the Fuzhou Strait International Conference & Exhibition Center. This expo is co-hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce, Guizhou International Wine Expo Co., Ltd., and Wine Expo (Fuzhou) International Business Development Co., Ltd. Its theme, "Tasting Fine Wines from Around the World
Gathering at the Silk Road Starting Point," aims to respond to the national "Belt and Road" initiative, promote an in-depth integration of wine culture and tourism economy, and create a comprehensive event combining product transactions, information services, investment promotion, and wine cultural experiences.
Three core highlights will electrify the event. First, this is Fuzhou's first local-themed wine expo, attracting wine industry chain enterprises nationwide. The expo provides a high-end platform for display, communication, and cooperation, aiding local brand development and market expansion. Second, during the expo, a nationwide launch conference for new wine products will be held, enabling brands to seize market opportunities through differentiated positioning and omni-channel strategies, thereby enhancing their competitive edge in the southeastern market. Lastly, Fuzhou will host the Guinness World Record for the "largest wine display," promoting cross-cultural exchanges and the diverse development of global wine culture.
The expo will feature five major exhibition areas: the International Fine Wine Exhibition Area, China Fine Wine Exhibition Area, Wine Exhibition Area for Belt and Road-Related Countries, Guinness World Record Exhibition Area, and Wine Industry Chain Exhibition Area, showcasing various global wine brands and industry-related products. A series of engaging events will also take place, such as the opening ceremony, 2025 New Wine Product Launch Conference, Wine Industry Integration and Innovation Development Conference, and a roundtable for mayors of Belt and Road trade promotion associations, focusing on deep integration with other sectors and exploring successful cases and advanced concepts in the wine tourism integration.
Additionally, a "Limited-Time Promotional Happy Shopping" event will be launched during the expo, fostering direct promotions from manufacturers to bring quality wines to households. Attendees can purchase wines like Moutai, West Phoenix, and Dongjiu at special prices, enhancing the fun of "Tasting Wine + Interaction." The expo is expected to attract over 300 exhibitors and more than 20,000 professional visitors, aiding the internationalization and brand-building of the wine industry and positioning Fuzhou as a new center for wine cultural trade in Southeast coastal China. The organizers express their commitment to leveraging this expo to develop the Fuzhou Wine Expo into a market-oriented, branded, and internationally recognized wine exhibition within five years.
