The grand 2026 (19th) Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (referred to as "2026 Beijing Auto Show") will be held from April 24 to May 3, 2026, at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyipavilion) and the Capital International Convention Center (New National Exhibition Phase Two).

Since its inception in 1990, the Beijing International Auto Show (Auto China) has been riding the wave of the rapidly developing Chinese automotive industry. It has witnessed the trends and transformations in the automotive sector, establishing itself as a significant international A-level automotive exhibition held in China every two years.

The last exhibition in 2024 saw immense success, showcasing 117 global premier vehicles (with 30 global debuts from multinational companies), 41 concept cars, and 278 new energy vehicles. Nearly 500 renowned automotive parts manufacturers and technology companies from 13 countries participated. Over the event's 10 days, it attracted a record of 892,000 visitors, along with over 23,000 media representatives and industry professionals, including 1,148 foreign media reporters from 956 media outlets across 131 countries and 21,812 domestic reporters and professionals.

The 2026 Beijing Auto Show will represent a milestone in the event's history, utilizing all exhibition venues at both the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyipavilion) and the Capital International Convention Center, along with outdoor exhibition space, achieving a record total area of 380,000 square meters. This substantial increase in space will effectively address the long-standing issue of insufficient area at previous exhibitions and fulfill the expectations of exhibitors and visitors alike, ensuring better conditions for more brands to showcase their products.

The revamped 2026 Beijing Auto Show allows for a concentrated display of both vehicle manufacturers and component suppliers, greatly facilitating exhibition, communication, and collaboration among car manufacturers and their upstream and downstream supply chain partners. It also offers attendees a new and convenient experience to understand and engage with the automotive industry's overall development status and trends. The media days are scheduled for April 24 and 25, 2026; the professional audience days on April 26 and 27; and the public visiting days from April 28 to May 3, making for a 10-day exhibition period.
