2027 World Robot Conference and Expo (Beijing)

The World Robot Conference has successfully held eleven sessions, establishing itself as a premier platform for robotics technical exchange, achievement transformation, and industrial integration in China. The upcoming conference will focus on the application of robotics in various scenarios and the collaborative development of the industrial chain. It will showcase how robots enhance high-quality development across all sectors through scene simulations and case studies. Additionally, the conference will explore the integration and innovative applications of emerging technologies such as 5G and AI.

This conference will cover more than ten application areas including manufacturing, commercial logistics, energy, agriculture, architecture, education, healthcare, and more, showcasing core components as well as intelligent technologies and software systems. It will gather the latest research achievements, application products, and solutions from the global robotics field, providing an international platform for China's robotics industry.

The review of the 2026 conference highlighted seven main forums and 71 parallel activities, attracting over 1000 domestic and international experts who discussed the theme of "symbiosis between humans and machines". Many new discoveries and insights were shared, leading to the release of 44 new technologies such as embodied world models, dexterous hands, and flexible tactile sensing devices.

The last conference saw support from 30 international organizations, with participation from 40 foreign companies and over 10,000 international visitors. A total of 11,418 teams and 17,802 participants competed, demonstrating global interest and the developmental potential of robotics.

The key activities of the upcoming conference will include: a three-day global robot forum featuring over 20 thematic discussions, a world robot expo covering 50,000 square meters showcasing industrial robots, service robots, AI, and more; and various international robot competitions including the Final of the Chinese Drone Open and competitions for different types of robots.
