Currently, the global digital economy is booming, and the new ‘dual circulation’ development pattern in China is deepening. Expanding overseas has become an inevitable choice for Chinese brands seeking a second growth curve. Under this era's background, choosing to hold the Expo in Hainan has extraordinary strategic significance. As a free trade port with Chinese characteristics, Hainan boasts a policy system of ‘zero tariff, low tax rate, and simple tax system,’ geographic advantages close to ASEAN, a visa-free policy for 59 countries, and its status as an international aviation hub, naturally forming a ‘6-hour economic circle’ covering the Asia-Pacific region, providing an excellent platform for enterprises to boost trade through exhibitions.

Importantly, with the formal implementation of the full island closure operation in Hainan, the free trade port will realize a new regulatory model of ‘open at the first line, controlled at the second line, and free within the island,’ greatly facilitating the free flow of trade, investment, capital, and other factors. This provides a “pressure testing ground” and a “policy innovation window” for Chinese brands going global, in alignment with international rules.

It is based on this historic opportunity that the Expo was born, aiming to create a national-level platform integrating achievement displays, trend releases, supply chain connections, policy interpretations, and capital empowerment. Unlike the Canton Fair, which emphasizes merchandise trade orders, and the Consumer Expo, which focuses on consumer goods, the Expo aims to propel Chinese brands from ‘product export’ to ‘brand export,’ with a greater emphasis on empowering the entire industrial chain, covering brand value enhancement and global operational capability building across various fields such as technology, manufacturing, consumption, and services.

The upcoming Expo, themed ‘Serving Brand Going Global, Sharing Global Future,’ will grandly open from October 20 to 22, 2026, at the Hainan International Exhibition Center (Halls 1-7), with an exhibition area of 90,000 square meters. It is expected to attract 1,000 exhibitors, including 120 leading domestic enterprises, 20 overseas exhibitors, and over 900 enterprises from outside the province. Additionally, the Expo will gather 6,000-8,000 purchasers, including important domestic industrial purchasers, international purchasers focusing on the ‘Belt and Road’ and RCEP countries, mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms, and various support service institutions, estimating to attract 5,000 professional visitors.

To fully realize platform functions, the Expo will carefully design six core sections, including the core theme exhibition area, strategic empowerment area, innovative experience area, product/news release area, dynamic activities area, and conference/forum area. These sections will specifically cover multiple fields such as technology and manufacturing, consumption and lifestyle, service and digital ecology, high-end manufacturing and advanced equipment, cross-border supply chains and logistics, cultural IP and brand storytelling, forming a three-dimensional, immersive brand going global ecosystem display and matching space.

Future Mobility and Low-altitude Economy Pavilion: Includes smart mobility exhibition area (green mobility, new energy equipment), green energy exhibition area (charging equipment, energy storage devices, energy-saving and emission reduction, photovoltaic products), low-altitude economy exhibition area (drones). Cross-border E-commerce Ecology Brand Pavilion: Cross-border platforms, comprehensive cross-border service providers, source factories for cross-border products, cross-border supply chains, cross-border live e-commerce supply chains, community supply chains. Fashion Life and Health Pavilion: Includes fashion life exhibition area (fashion home, 3C digital, personal care and beauty, smart wearables, apparel and bags, trendy cultural creative products, outdoor leisure, auto parts, hardware tools, etc.), health exhibition area (import and export medical devices, equipment, health equipment, welfare equipment, health products). Provincial and Municipal Brand Pavilion: National特色产品展区, high-end manufacturing, digital technology, and smart robotics exhibition area. Key Brand Pavilion: International brand products, national brand products, famous trademark products, and key brand products. Fashion Home Pavilion: Artistic furniture and original design home items, high-end soft decoration fabrics and textiles, home accessories and art pieces, environmentally-friendly new materials and crafted home products. Smart Home Decoration Pavilion: Whole-house smart system solutions, smart home individual items, smart basic building materials and components, smart soft decoration and customized home products.
