23rd China Animal Husbandry Expo 2026

The 23rd China Animal Husbandry Expo, also known as the "Livestock Expo," is scheduled to take place from May 18 to 20, 2026, at the Western International Expo City in Chengdu, China. Since its inception in 2003, the expo has successfully held 22 sessions, becoming the largest and most well-regarded event in the domestic animal husbandry sector, also one of the top global events in the field.

In 2026, the expo aims to build upon the achievements of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for animal husbandry, focusing on developing new productive forces and promoting high-quality growth in the sector through innovation. The event will feature over 8,000 booths, covering an area of 180,000 square meters, with exhibits spanning the entire animal husbandry industry chain. This includes domestic and foreign livestock and poultry breeding, deep processing, feeds, veterinary medicines, animal healthcare products, feed additives, related equipment, environmental management, biomass energy, forage, and comprehensive services.

To enhance consumption of animal products, the expo will continue to innovate by holding large tasting events such as “Taste Qingdao Beer, Sample Animal Products,” and “Savor Tianfu Delicacies, Relish Animal Products.” Moreover, it will host over 100 high-profile conferences, including the "3rd High-Quality Development Conference of Animal Husbandry" and the "5th (2026) Smart Animal Husbandry Conference,” emphasizing the commitment of the China Animal Husbandry Association to drive industry growth.

The expo invites various enterprises, organizations, and professionals from the livestock industry and related fields to participate actively, contributing to the new blueprint for industry development. Participants will cover critical sectors including breeding and production of livestock and poultry, veterinary drugs and devices, feed and processing equipment, technologies related to livestock farms, high-quality animal products, and technological innovations in the animal husbandry sector.
